Kylemore Abbey Store : Terms and Conditions 1 : Overview 2: Privacy Policy 3: Delivery Policy 4 : Returns, refunds and exchange Making a purchase To make a purchase through the Kylemore Abbey & Garden website you will be required to register. During the registration process you will be required to provide information about yourself including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number and email address. Your information allows us to fulfill your order, ensuring it will be delivered correctly, and to maintain your account. Should any of your registration information change in the future you are required to amend your personal online account immediately. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details which are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided. We reserve the right to change our registration requirements from time to time. When you order it is necessary to provide us with a home phone number so you can be contacted to rearrange delivery in the event of being unavailable to accept delivery. Accuracy of content Every care has been taken in the preparation of the content of this online shopping experience, in particular to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing. Deliveries Delivery can be made to countries in the European Union as well as the United States of America. Under EU Food Regulations we are prohibited from sending food items to the U.S. We will deliver orders in accordance with the delivery rates detailed on our Delivery page. Where referred to, work days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. Orders may be shipped in multiple boxes to expedite the delivery process. Subject to stock availability, shipment of all orders from Kylemore Abbey & Garden will occur 3-4 working days after receipt of order. If you wish to ship orders to separate addresses, an individual order will need to be made for each address. The lead time for different zones is as follows:- IRELAND 3 – 4 working days U.K. 1 Week EUROPE 2 Weeks U.S.A. 2 Weeks Delivery timescales are indicative only. We reserve the right to change our delivery charges. Acknowledgement and acceptance of your order We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge receipt of your order and to provide you with an order number. If, for any reason, we are unable to fulfill your order following this acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or telephone advising you of this. Our acceptance of your order will take place upon despatch of the product(s) ordered. If you require any information concerning your order please email us at shop@kylemoreabbey.ie quoting your order number. Alternatively go to My Account to access your order information. Your order may not be accepted if we have identified a product or pricing error or if we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment. Please note that we reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time. Legally binding contract There will be a legally binding contract when we accept your submitted order for goods on this website. Availability All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. Ordering errors You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on 'Confirm Order' on the Shopping Basket page of our ordering process. Inspection On receipt of your delivery you should inspect the products and check that everything specified is included. You will be deemed to have accepted the order unless you notify us upon receipt that there is a problem, or you cancel your order in acceptance with your cancellation right and/or you return the goods in accordance with our returns policies and procedures. If you fail to take such action, we are not obligated to accept any rejection by you of the goods at a later date. Payment Payment can be made by any of the following methods; Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Electron, American Express and Maestro/Laser. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the point at which your order is despatched. You confirm that the credit or debit card being used is yours. Please note that all credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the issuer of the card. If the issuer of the your payment card refuses to pay or does not for any reason authorise payment to Kylemore Abbey & Garden, we will not be liable for delay or non-delivery of goods. We retain the legal ownership of all goods until full payment has been made by you and received by us and legal ownership of the goods will immediately transfer back to us if we refund any payment for the goods to you. Cancellation rights Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving the goods (with the exception of personalised and food items). Personalised and food items can only be returned or exchanged if faulty. For further details of how to return goods please see our Returns Policies and Procedures. Where goods are delivered to a third party you may exercise your right to cancel if you are able to returns the goods to us. Privacy Policy We at Kylemore Abbey & Garden value our customers and respect their privacy. Any information we collect about you is held with the utmost care and security. You will be asked to register your name, address, telephone number and email address when making a purchase on our website. Your information will be stored in 'My Account' and you can change your personal details in 'My Account' at any time. If you place an order on our website you will also be required to provide credit or debit card details. Your credit or debit card details are not kept or stored by Kylemore Abbey & Garden. The information you give us is used in numerous ways: Customer Service We ask for your contact details, such as your email address and telephone number, to enable us to answer any questions you have. Keeping you informed To keep you up to date with our latest products, news, promotional offers and events we will contact you by email or post. We will not provide your personal details to other companies or individuals for their marketing purposes. Cookies The Kylemore Abbey & Garden ordering system uses cookies to record a unique reference on your computer, this means it recognises your computer when you access kylemoreabbey.com and log into ?My Account? with your username and password. The use of cookies saves you having to enter the basic contact information that you provided on setting up your account. You can change and update the information you have provided by logging into 'My Account'. Delivery Policy Orders may be shipped in multiple boxes to expedite the delivery process. To see shipping costs for the item/s you require you will need to proceed with your order to the stage prior to inserting your credit card details. All orders will leave Kylemore Abbey & Garden within 3 working days of receiving your order. If you wish to cancel your order, please do so within these days. If the item ordered by you is not in stock and needs to be re-ordered, we will contact you by phone or email to notify you of same and of expected delivery time. If you wish to make orders to separate addresses, an individual order will need to be made for each address. If this occurs, we will contact the customer and arrange to have the package re-shipped. The cost of re-shipping items returned as “undeliverable” will be borne by the customer unless the non-delivery is the result of an error made by us. Kylemore Abbey & Garden will pay the re-shipping costs if the non-delivery is a result of our error. Returns, Exchange and Refunds Policy Unwanted Items If you receive an item ordered by you which you no longer require, please notify us by email to shop@kylemoreabbey.ie within 7 days of receipt of delivery. The cost of returning unwanted items is borne by the customer unless the return is the result of an error made by us. Kylemore Abbey & Garden will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. Unwanted items should be returned to:- The Craft Shop Kylemore Abbey & Garden Kylemore Connemara Co. Galway IRELAND. Exchange Items If, on receipt of your order, you would like to exchange an item for a different one, please return the original item. You will be refunded your original payment, less postage costs, once we receive the item. You will need to place a new order for the item you wish to purchase. You do not need to wait for us to receive the original item before placing the new order. Exchange items should be returned to:- The Craft Shop Kylemore Abbey & Garden Kylemore Connemara Co. Galway IRELAND. Problems With Received Items If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please notify us immediately by email to shop@kylemoreabbey.ie to request a replacement or refund. Our Craft Shop staff will assist you in returning the product to us. Proof that the item in question is faulty or has been damaged will be required by our staff. If you require a replacement, subject to availability, a replacement item will be shipped to you. The cost of shipping this replacement item to you will be borne by Kylemore Abbey & Garden. If you require a refund, a full refund including the cost of shipping will be made to you. Refunds are processed by our Secure Payments provider. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it, and the time it takes your bank to process the refund request. We will notify you via email of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item.
